Dial One Sonshine Plumbing Htg
I can't say enough good things about Dave Marquez & Dial One Sonshine Plumbing. They came to my rescue this past weekend and were able to resolve my backed up toilet and shower without any problems and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Dave is very personable and assured me they would be able to take care of me the same day, even though it was the day before the 4th. He was able to resolve my headache so I could get back to my R&R.
Orange Coast Plumbing Service
What was supposed to be an R&R holiday weekend for me turned out to be a plumbing headache. First my shower decided to stop draining and then my toilet backed up. Arg. I called several companies for service on Saturday, the day before the 4th of July. I was happy that Orange Coast Plumbing could respond so quickly, but I was horrified with all the costs they were spitting out before ever coming to my home! They were talking about mainlines and repiping. I just had a back up and wanted them fixed. Their prices seemed off the chart expensive to me, so I contacted a few other places that were equally responsive and quoted a much cheaper price.
Sarah's Flowers
Sarah's delivered a very pretty basket to my aunt for her 4th of July party that was even nicer than the picture of the arrangement I had seen online. This was the first time I've used Sarah's and wouldn't hesitate to use them again based upon their performance this weekend.
Fullerton Flowers, Plants & Gifts
Fullerton Flowers & Plants was able to get the bamboo plants I wanted as decorations for one of the parties we had to throw. The three other florists I had spoken to were not able to get the plants as quickly as I needed them, but Fullerton Florist was without any problems.
Melody's Flowers & Gift Baskets
Melody's Flowers & Gift Baskets proved themselves to be a very good florist when there was a delivery snafu with an arrangement I purchased from them. My mom was supposed to receive a specific arrangement for Mother's Day and what she got is not what I ordered. When I contacted Melody's, they rectified the situation by delivering what I originally ordered and allowed my mom to keep the incorrect arrangement as well.
Capri Flowers & Gifts
Capri Flowers is a nice floral shop that has done good work for me both with arrangements for personal use and for professional use. They most recently provided the table arrangements for one of the many events earlier in the year and did a fantastic job.
Jaureguis Catering
Jaureguis Catering did a proposal for one of the many events my company hosted in a 45 day period. The event Jaurenguis catered was a cocktail reception for 50 people. They did a pretty nice job and provided a good array of hors d'oeuvres. I would have liked to have seen more creativity with the food as far as presentation, but the taste was very good on all accounts.
Chef Adam's Catering Svc
My experience with Chef Adam's Catering Service was mixed. On the plus side, the food was very good and offered some creative dishes you don't normally see in a buffet. The cons - the Chef is what you would call temperamental and can be difficult to work with. It was a hassle in the planning phase and was way more work than it needed to be. My event was a success but the stress wasn't worth it.
Hidden Cafe
The only reason I stepped foot into the Hidden Cafe is because I didn't know what it was. I was horrified by the idea of being inside a hookah bar and just don't get the appeal of it. The crowd was mostly twenty-somethings who thought they were much cooler than what they are. When I finally saw the people I knew, I promptly went over, had a few choice words and promptly left. Ugh is the only way I can describe it.
Victory Bakery and Restaurant
I've only ever gotten the pastries and sweets from the Victory Bakery and Restaurant, and I can attest they are delicious. I brought some of the pastries to a meeting I had and wound up going the next day and getting a slew more for everyone. The pastries were flaky, moist and sweet.
