Nail Tips
This little shop is modern and clean. They give manicures, pedicures and can give you acrylic nails. They also do waxing. I usually see a different technician each visit. They are all good! I have never been disappointed. Their prices are very reasonable and they will take appointments if you like a special technician.

After a huge Eucalyptus tree fell on my 94 year old father's house and left a gaping hole, this company was contracted by the insurance company to repair the damage. They did an awesome and timely job. They were able to repair the house which had extensive structural damage in 3 months. It ended up looking like new-much better than before the accident. They were considerate of my father's fragility because of his age, and contracted each step to well qualified workers. I can't comment on the cost, since it was paid by the insurance, but if I had a need for any major house or yard restoration, I would be sure to call them.
Primrose Lane Flowers & Gifts
I first discovered this quaint Flower and Gift Shop when I needed to order some floral arrangements for my brother-in-law who had passed away. The service/mortuary was nearby and the flowers offered were outrageously expensive, so I tried this shop which had been recommended by a friend. The owner listened to my request, took notes, and quoted me a reasonable price. The results were beautiful! Everyone commented on how lovely the arrangements were. I always go back to Primrose Lane when I need flowers or cute gifts.
Custom Comfort Mattress
We shopped around for the perfect mattress and chose to purchase a California King mattress set for such a reasonable price at Custom Comfort! After trying a variety of different styles, we found the perfect comfort level. They were good enough to hold the new mattress until we could conveniently receive it, and they hauled away the old one for free. Great service, quality products!
Solo Tire Pros
We use their services for any of our car needs- repair, maintenance, tires, brakes (that are not under warranty). It is centrally located and they are good enough to give us a lift home and bring us back when the car is ready. They do quick and quality work. The mechanics are very thorough and often recommend preventative care, but my husband's philosophy is "If it's not broken, don't fix it."

When a family is devastated by a loved-one's death, it's easy to be taken advantage of. Oswald's carries many of the same caskets you find at your mortuary, at a greatly reduced price. Even if you have to pay the mortuary a charge for accepting an outside casket, it's still much less. Your loved one wouldn't want you to overspend on their behalf. We have used Oswald's on 3 occasions and are grateful for the savings.
Shahbazian, Armen, Md - Pacific Radiation Oncology
Dr. Shahbazian and his staff recently treated my father during his bout with Lymphoma. The Doctor and his staff were friendly and considerate. If you have to go through Radiation therapy, you want someone who will thoroughly explain the process, prognosis, side effects and benefits and puts it "on the line". You also want someone who is kind and gentle and treats you like a human being, not like "an illness". In addition to his quality treatment, the Doctor and his staff were very helpful in pushing referrals through the Medicare system and getting him the help he needed.

Dr. Judy Losco was my father's family doctor until his recent death at 94 years old. She was always available to answer his questions and provided quality care. The Doctor's staff was very friendly and always treated my father with respect and kindness. I often took him for his appointments and saw that all the patients were treated well, and unless a patient was "squeezed in" because of an emergency, the wait to be seen was minimal.

Windshield Repair
What a scare to have a big rock aiming at your windshield on the freeway! It hit right in the lower center of my Acura's windshield and made a 1"-2" hole. I checked out several windshield replacement companies on the Internet. Someone recommended US Windshield Repair as being a cheap and good fix. They were correct. It was a multiple layered damage which they were able to repair in a few minutes. If you look carefully, you see a slight blur in the area, but because of the location (out of the driver's view), the fix is not distracting. I saved several hundred dollars and didn't have to worry about a possible leak had the windshield been replaced.
