Giada's
Giada's is attached to Pizza Pub restaurant. This is a great place to come to watch a football game regardless if you are cheering for the local favorite Green Bay Packers or prefer visitor favorites Chicago Bears or Minesota Vikings. Giada's has multiple TVs and has all the games on from the various teams so you can catch your favorite team while enjoying a beverage and/or snack in a friendly, modern setting. They have recently remodeled and it is even nicer than it was before.
Fisher's Tavern
This is an old time, neighborhood tavern. when you walk in you walk into a little bit of the past and history. The bar set-up is old and well used. The bar stools are well worn as is the flooring. Nothing fancy here, just a local spot to get together and enjoy a beverage and discuss the day's or wee's activities with others. Friendly service and reasonable prices considering you're in the heart of downtown Wisconsin Dells.
Last Shot Saloon
This bar in Lyndon seems to attract more of a biker clientele and doesn't have that same small town, homey, everyone knows everyone else feeling to it. The service is a little stiffer and not as friendly as some of the other establishments in town. For some reason this place just doesn't attract my attention and business and I'm not comfortable patronizing it.
Beagle's Bar & Grill
Beagle's has a wonderful fish fry on Friday ngihts that is very popular and very reasonable. You get a basket of fish, fries and coleslaw that will fill you up. Then wash it down with your favorite beverage. They also have other menu options from their grill for those that don't care for the fish. Nice neighborhood bar and little restaurant. Could use a little refurbishing but still comfortable.
Double B Bar
Everyone knows everyone else at Double B and if you don't, you will in a very short period of time. Conversation is the main entertainment here at the horseshoe shaped bar that captures the heart of this establishment. This is just a bar, no food other than assorted bag snacks. The staff is very friendly and the beverages reasonable. The ceiling panels at Double B have artwork on them designed by various locals and then signed. Interesting to look at the different ones ...
Jim & Jan's Wildlife Bar
Lyndon Station is a small town. It's main street is only about a block long and the majority of the business on that main street are bars! On a Saturday night, you just park on the main street and can spend the evening going from one bar to the next bar, meeting new people, seeing what's going on at the various establishments and never have to drive anywhere else.
Wildlife Bar also has a little dining room where they serve sandwiches and full meals. The food is home cooking and usually very tasty and big portions. The bar portion is an old original bar and stretches the length of the building. You can always find someone to talk to or shoot a game of pool with. Food and beverages are very reasonable here.
Bronco Billy's
This is a pretty nice little place! A little more upscale than most bars and very clean. This isn't a little, dark, smoke filled establishment. It is well lit, well maintained and well run. They offer a limited food menu, but certainly enough to satisfy any appetite. The food is good and ample portions and the drinks are poured generous. All at a reasonable price.
Country Keg Saloon
The old location has been torn down to make room for more parking, so they have moved across the street and up the block to what used to be a little grocery store. The atmosphere is totally different than the the old Keg. The new location is all glass front and attracts a livelier crowd, especially when the weather is nice and their outside garden is open. They have live entertainment on some Saturday nights and that really brings the people out to party.
Sand Bar
Sand Bar has been a staple in the Dells for many years! They have moved to a new, larger location. They still get a large local crowd, but especially in the summer, there quite a few tourists who stop in for some fun, lively conversation and a beverage or two.
Poor Nate's Place
Pretty much everyone who stops at Nate's knows the owners and most of the people there. They pour a generous drink and there is always conversation to go around. Only small snacks for food. The biggest problem with Nate's is the snoke. They have virtually no air exchanger and the air is very heavy and never seems to circulate or change and get any fresh air in. Can only stand to be there an hour or so before the smoke gets to me ...
