I love going into this shop. It is absolutely overflowing with as many different candies as they could possibly fit. The result is hundreds of different colors and patterns so that it is a real treat just looking around. It's even more fun if you have children with you. The employees are very nice and full of suggestions when you can't decide. The hard part is trying to decide which kinds of candy to try. An absolute must is their salt water taffy. Yummy!
First Street Veterinay Hospital is a great place to bring your pet. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Dr. Kruse is a wonderful, caring person who is so skilled at working with animals who are in pain or afraid. She is very compassionate about helping dogs in need, too. I foster dogs for a rescue organization and they always reduce my bill because of this. Thank you, Dr. Kruse!
Over 465,000 products in hardware, tools, plumbing, mechanical, ventilation, electrical and more. Quick turn on Internet orders. Can order after 4PM (Pacific) and receive next day. The website is a little cumbersome, but has some good and usefulk features.
Friendly counter service, helpful telephone sales people. Usually have the things I need in a hurry in stock. Electronics parts, telecomunications supplies.
My daughter had to have a scary procedure done and so our family doctor recommended Dr. Fisher. Boy, am I glad she did! Dr. Fisher made sure that my daughter and I understood everything that would be happening to her during the procedure so that she would not be too afraid. He makes you feel calm just by the way he talks. As soon as my daughter was out of danger, he let me know by coming into the waiting room to talk to me personally. The follow-up visits were great, too, with lots of clear explanations of the wound care I had to administer. I highly recommend Dr. Fisher as he is excellent at what he does!
This doctor's office is unusual in that it has only women doctors. And let's face it. Sometimes you just don't feel like having a man look at the places of your body where the sun never shines. Not only do you feel more comfortable here but Dr. Rashid is extremely knowledgable and has a way about her that helps you to relax. My daughter had to have a scary procedure done and it was just great the way Dr. Rashid helped her feel better about everything.
If you are doing some remodeling or have a lot of yard clean-up, you wind up with lots of leftover construction wood and yard debris. The problem is what the heck do you do with all this stuff. If you have a truck or a friend with a truck, pile up your leftover two by fours, plywood, tree branches, or leaves and bring them to Grimm's. They have giant machines that chew this stuff up (nails and all) and spit it back out as garden mulch. Instead of filling up landfills, you can feel good that your waste is becoming good stuff that makes gardens pretty and improves the soil. The price to drop off your debris here is very reasonable and, if you have kids, they will love seeing this recycling process in action.
Needed custom cases for computers and video equipment. They helped me figure out how to layout my equipment for easy access and consider how cases get handled by shippers and airline personnel. They used water jet cutting of the foam to match the shape of my euipment, and built a carpet and foam lined tray housing my cameras which could quickly be removed to get to the equipment in the bottom of the case.
They use either off the shelf cases (like Pelican or SKB) or fabricate cases from wood or other material to fit the need. Then add foam, carpet, partitions, whatever to hold and protect your equipment from shock.
I have tried other vendors, but keep coming back to Maxline. They are not as fancy as the competitors but work with you to get what you need.
They have nice dogs in the office, too.
We regularly go to Booktique because you just don't know what you might find. They have withdrawn books from the library, but most of the books are actually donations. The prices are usually 50 cents or a dollar. On our latest trip though, we bought some very old books in wonderful condition that are no longer in print and they were still only a few dollars. It is like going on a treasure hunt!
Even though there was not that large of a selection of dresses here, the ones they had were beautiful. The salesperson was very helpful and nice, too! You do not have to have an appointment here but we wound up waiting about 15 minutes. They were helping several men and the dressing rooms are not very private so we had to wait for them to leave. The room where you view your dress had double and triple mirrors for a good view of the back of your dress.
