The Uptown hardware store in Northwest Portland is a very handy store. There are not to many hardware stores around and they have really come in handy when you need to repair something. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a large variety of items, even gift things. Great little place.

The Messenger Knife Grinding company has been in business for many years. They cater to the printing industry sharpening their large format cutter blades. They are a honest and fair company to work with and if in need of their service would not hesitate to use them. Nice people.

The Portland Contractors Supply in NE is a playground for the Professional contractors in the trade. They have good prices and a professional sales staff to assist. This is not home depot.

The Chown Hardware has a beautiful selection of bathroom fixtures and kitchen hardware.This is the best display and selection I've ever seen/ The staff is very helpful and familiar with their products. Must see this place in person.
Ankeny Hardware
Nice people at Ankeny hardware have a lot crammed into a small space. They are right close in SE and the can get you anything from garbage cans to de icer when needed they are a great resource to the neighborhood.
Parkrose Hardware INC
The Parkrose hardware store has a huge selection of everything for the honey do list. I really enjoy the chrome hardware selection for use on my Harley. The keep it under lock and key but well worth asking for. Nice people here.
Miller Paint Company
The staff here at the Miller paint in Tigard really knows their stuff. They offer helpful suggestions and information on any project you can cook up. They help by carrying out you purchases after shaking them in the machines. The prices are good.
