Tom's Pancake House
I absolutely love pancakes for breakfast and Tom's Pancake house never disappoints. From the regular pancakes to the fancier waffles everything is good. The pancakes are light and do not leave you with an uncomfortable stuffed feeling. Recommend it highly.
Mc Cormick & Schmick's Seafood
This is one of my favorite sea food places. I love the atmosphere. I have never been disappointed by the food. The prices are a little bit above average but well worth it. You could wear jeans but I believe you would be more comfortable dressed up.
Newport Seafood Grill
Newport Bay is a very nice restaurant. I believe that you would be more comfortable in dress clothes than in jeans. The menu is mostly sea foods that are excellently prepared. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the prices are reasonable. If you like seafood this is definitely a place to try.
Banning's Restaurant & Pie House
Bannings Restaurant has wonderful breakfasts. Be prepared that there may be a wait because it is very popular in the Tigard area.
They also make wonderful pies. You can order ahead or just stop in and see what their selection for the day is. We go there quite often for breakfast.
Excelsior Inn
Excelsior Inn has great Italian food. I would recommend making a reservation Also be prepared it is a little on the spendy side but the atmosphere and the preparation of the food make it truly a wonderful dining experience. Recommend it highly.
El Vaquero
El Vaquero is one of our favorite Latin restaurants in Eugene. It is very different than what you think of if someone says it is a Mexican restaurant. Their menu varies from seafood to steak. If you want a fun relaxed place to eat be sure to try this one.
Marche
Marche is on the 5th st market and it is fun to poke through the shops in the 5th street market. The food is upscale continental and might be a little unusual for some tastes. However if you are willing to take a chance on some continental cuisine give Marche's a chance.
Adam's Place
One of my favorites for steaks and the martinis are fantastic. They have a huge menu of martinis. They also have wonderful desserts. Dress can be casual. Recommend it.
Harpers
Monet is not open many hours so call before you plan to stop there for dinner. I would make a reservation. The food is delicious. I love the atmosphere and just love to sit there with a glass of wine while waiting for my meal. Recommend it highly.
Geiser Grand Hotel & Rstrnt
The Geiser Grand Grill is located in the Historic Old Geiser Grand Hotel in downtown Baker City. It is very unusual. They offer a wide variety of dinners on the menu. Beautiful views and well worth making the effort to stop there for something to eat.
