The old store building was dilapidated but since they downsized and moved into their new store its much more pleasant to go in and shop. Ample parking is available.
A & V Liquors & Grocery
I go here because they have an old fashioned coke machine filled with actual glass bottles of coke. The taste is so much better than plastic bottles. They also carry a racing form.
N & M Liquor
Next door to the nude wood store you can get a pretty good pizza in there along with other snacks. The location can be hard to get to if your on the wrong side of the street.
Laurel Liquors
They carry all your liquor wants and needs and they have decent prices. They also have the racing form so you don't have to leave castro valley to find one.
Heyer House Liquors
This liquor store has survived in spite of the shopping center closing and reopening several years later. They have been at this location forever and sell just about anything you need for a party.
B Street Liquor Store
Decent liquor store as far as liquor stores go but some of the customers that go into that store are kind of scary looking. I think they've had there share of robberies because now you can only use one entrance.
Pianos Plus-Authorized Yamaha
Many and I mean many piano and organs to select from for such a small store. There warehouse is accross the street so you can usually get a quick delivery.
Chetwood Crest Mobile Homes Pk
Very old and established mobile home park and the end of the castro valley blvd. near center street. Some of the mobile homes look run down and it seems to be mostly seniors on a fixed income that live there.
Weber Quality Meats
Very good quality meats and poultry. We've never had a bad cut from here. Their prices are more than reasonable and you will go away fully satisfied.
Al Lunardi & Sons Meat Co Inc
The meat you get from lunardi's is top quality. My husbands bocci group only buys from there for their BBQs. We started getting some steaks from there and they are wonderful.
