Chino Veterinary Hospital
I am writing this very upset right now. I had taken my cat to this place two weeks ago. My cat was acting lethargic, thought it was because I had given him some different food.
The Dr assured me if I had any problems they would be there the next day "Sat" and also they would be in on "Mon" He seemed to be having some difficulty "Sat" but maybe I was being a bit overprecautious. I called to get him on "mon" the Dr's wife was having surgery he wouldn't be in. The staff couldn't even get me in on "Tues" I had to wait till "Wed" if I had read the writing on the wall I would have taken him elsewhere. I feel as if he would still be with us right now. The lady at the desk does not break any rules in squeezing a sick animal into the schedule. When calling to get in you can not get in for at least two days. Maybe it depends on who you are. When I was there for my last appointment a lady thanked the receptionist for squeezing her in. Go figure.
Lucille's Smokehouse Bbq
This Lucille's is new to our area. Thank goodness we are finally getting some great food in our area. Lucille's has kept their great expectations here, on top of the great variety and large portions we will be returning to Chino Hills, Lucille's. Great experience
Rib Trader of Orange
My husband and I went to eat here after rave reviews from a friend. We got a sampler platter of the ribs (all baby back)
Overall not impressed with this place. The carpet was filthy and the ribs were not even tender. I will say they had a full dining room when we left. Maybe we got lousy food or these people don't know of anyplace better to dine out for BBQ.
White Towing SVC
We have an auto repair shop so when a tow is in need, we either call White or tell customer to call White's. Very dependable service. Highly recommend.
Scheu Steel Supply Company
I work for a company that does business here, very nice people to deal with. The only downfall, they tend to have limited variety and prices are a little high.
Petersen Inn
This is a beautiful upscale hotel. They have a beautiful piano in the lobby when entering. This hotel has an old world charm feeling to it and the feel of Solvang as well.
It is a little more pricey than the other hotels but well worth the experience. Would highly recommend.
Hitching Post
This is at the top of my favorite places to eat. Only for the fact it is about a 4 hour drive for us. When visiting family in Santa Maria we usually go here. Nothing fancy, I call it a hole in the wall. But there is a reason this place packs them in, great food. They start you off with a relish tray to munch on, then either fruit coctail or shrimp coctail, then salad they have a wonderful house dressing. Then dinner of your choice, and for the finale ice cream of your choice. It is hard to find I say it is in the middle of no where. Make sure you mapquest. Enjoy
Julian Pie Co
This is a little bit of drive for us but well worth the trip. We make a day out of it when we go to Julian. And the finally is stopping by to take at least one pie if not two home with us.
What a treat. These pies are made with love. If you are ever
in the area this is a must.
Quality Fireplace & BBQ
We went here looking for a gas log set. I'll have to say the help was very nice and actually showed us a set we wanted.
They didn't have any in stock, they said they were getting some in. They never once called me, I called them to see if they had gotten the set in. Finally after many calls on my part went elsewhere and bought a very nice set. I can't believe that they don't care about making a sale anymore than that.
Al's Custom Cabinets
We had Al's do our kitchen. They did a really nice job, we were quite pleased. We really just let Al's do what they thought would be nice. Would recommend.
