Shades of Marin

We took our blinds in that we bought from home depot to be restrung and they were polite, easy to work with, and did it for the right price. They know their window treatments. Not only that, they had the blinds ready early!

Moylan's Brewery & Restaurant

we never seem to have good luck when it comes to the hamburgers at moylans. today i had to send my back, but it took the waiter so long to even glance our way everyone else was done by the time he came to get my burger. the lamb stew is great and there is enough going on to keep kids entertained while waiting for food.

Country Club Bowl

we took our 2.5yr old bowling for the first time at Country Club Bowl and it was great. They have ramps for the kids so they don't have to throw the balls, but instead they push them down the ramps. There was tons of space and room to run around. We've done it already twice this week with 6 other toddlers joining us!

Neptune Society

When we called the neptune society after my grandfathers passing, they said they would get him from the hospital in an hour and a half. That was saturday night. On Monday morning the hospital called me asking what I want to do with the body! Not what we needed to deal with after losing a loved one!

Dayenu Judaica

I like browsing in Dayenu, they have great gift ideas and many different styles of judaica. i wish they were a bit cheaper or had coupons since things are so expensive, but since they are one of the only shops in town you are kinda stuck with the prices.

A Child's Delight

the great thing is that my son plays with the trains while i can browse the store. i wish the aisles were a bit bigger but they carry great wooden toys and special gift type toys.

Pink Jeep Tours

We went on a tour of the grand canyon and had a great educational, professional, and knowledgeable guide named Kim. (ask for her if you go on a tour) she added tons to the tour and made it worth every penny. The trucks felt clean and safe and she was a good driver.

And don't forget to tip the drivers, they aren't paid much at all!

Albion River Inn

the bathroom....huge jacuzzi tub and lush towels! that was what did it for us. the fireplace and private view to the coast didn't hurt either. it was the perfect first weekend away after having our baby.

Inn At School House Creek

we loved our homey cabin at the 'school house'. we were able to bring our dogs and there was great areas around to let them exercise. the fireplace was a plus and it just felt like being at grandmas house!

Side by Side

we looked forward to every friday when we had our side by side class. It was great to be with other moms in a pre-preschool environment. we did this right before our son started daycare full time and felt he was totally prepared and excited to go. wonderful families and teachers!
