Canine Cuts is the place to take your pooch. My dogs know where they are headed half way there. They stay in the same cage, same tub and are only separated to dry. Great care and love is given to your animals and it's reasonable to make Fido smell a little fresher. You'll also love the bandannas.
Boarding Kennels by Shady Pines
Shady Pines is a well managed boarding and day care facility. The staff is loving, looks after the animals if they were their own. I know my animals are safe when they are in the well qualified and loved care of Bill and The Shady Pines Staff.
Humane Society
I wish the humane society would adopt a feral cat TNR program to address the hundreds of kittens they receive that are the offspring of ferals. They do a good job working with the community.
Slicer's Deli
Slicers is a great and quick sandwich place just off Broughton @ Abercorn. The prices are reasonable. Try the Club Sandwich. The shrimp salad is a great side to add.
Cilantros Mexican Restaurant
If you're craving Mexican and on the Westside, stop by Cilantro's. They have great quick and easy lunches. The prices are easy on the wallet and you can be in and out of there in about an hour. Great salsa and fajitas.
Flying Fish Bar & Grill
The Flying Fish is a great hole in the wall seafood joint. Tables with holes in the middle for trash, a roll of paper towels serve as napkins, and paper plates. A full bar is offered, prices are pretty good.
Pizza Rustica Savannah
Pizza Rustica on Bull Street is the best pizza even better than a pizza joint in city market. Try the fig and prosciutto pizza, the calzones are huge, filled to the top, crusts are crisp and thin, the chocolate cannelloni is to be savored it is so good. The prices are very reasonable, the staff always willing to help.
A Fine Choice
A Fine Choice is the place to stop in and spend a few minutes. The owners are wonderfully helpful in selecting items and making sure it's the perfect item for you. Lots of unique items, including glass, small boxes, animal items, sandstone sculptures. I always enjoy a visit and never walk out empty handed.
Rincon Transmission
They are some of the best transmission guys in the area. Standing behind their work is a creed. They have taken care of several rebuilds quickly and in transmission terms very reasonably. Don't go anywhere else!!!
B & D Burgers
The burgers are usually the bomb diggity. The onion rings are quite tasty. Don't forget to get a shake, preferably chocolate They make really thick ones
