Golden Bowl Restaurant
I have only gone to The Golden Bowl Restaurant once and I do not plan to go back. I originally went because I had heard that their food was very cheap and now I realize that you get what you pay for. The Golden Bowl Restaurant is a very tiny restaurant in a strip mall on US 46 and its interior is pretty messy. In addition their food was not very good at all. Even if you don't want to pay a lot for Chinese, I still wouldn't recommend Golden Bowl Restaurant.
Golden Moon Chinese Rstrnt
I have been to Golden Moon twice and both times I was very satisfied with my experience. The food is absolutely delicious and is presented very well. The staff is also very kind and helpful. Although it is a great place to have dinner with friends it is also a perfect place to have a small family function. My only problem with Golden Moon was their prices. Like most restaurants in the Randolph area Golden Moon charges a lot for their items and your bill can easily get very expensive.
Lucky Garden Chinese Rest Inc
The employees at Lucky Garden are very polite and friendly when you call in an order or when you are inside the restaurant. The restaurant is small and inside a strip mall and can easily be missed if you don't know where it is. As far as the food is concerned, Lucky Garden is average. There is nothing wrong with their food, its just that there is nothing that great about it either.
Evergreen Chinese Restaurant
The Evergreen Chinese Restaurant is a great place to go for a night night and a wonderful experience. Their food is delicious and the establishment is very clean and upscale. The prices are on the high side, about $20 a person but the environment and food are well worth it. The only issue with the restaurant is the fact that it is not located on a main road and is a little out of the way.
Kenny's Music Box Inc
...Tom Barth's Music Box is one of the best places for music instruction in New Jersey. Established by the late Tom Barth the Music Box is a music instruction center that focuses in in-depth one-on-one lessons for most musical instruments. I took guitar lessons at the music box and was amazing at how simple and fun they made the learning process. The lessons were a little more expensive than other local services but I can confidently say that the quality of the lessons and the knowledge of the instructors is well worth the extra few dollars. If you are serious about learning a musical instrument, do yourself a favor and go to Tom Barth's Music Box.
Enzo Restaurant & Pizzeria
The Enzo Restaurant & Pizzeria is a really nice Italian restaurant located in the Ledgewood Mall. It serves classic pizzeria food (pizza, salad, penne with vodka sauce, etc.) at very reasonable prices. Normally my girlfriend and I will go and ask to sit in the back room which has a more intimate and fancy feeling and we will have a very nice dinner for less than $20. The staff in Enzo's are very nice and remember locals and frequent customers. The restaurant also puts out occasional coupons to get money off of pizza which is always nice bonus.
Poor Herbie's
I have gone to Poor Herbie's numerous times with my girlfriend and her friends and it is one of the most overlooked restaurants in Madison. Poor Herbie's is an Irish Pub that has a large bar with many TVs for watching the games and it also has a separate room for sit down dining. The menu at Poor Herbie's is that of a classic Pub and is very cheap (a couple can have a full meal for around $20). Every time I go I always get the bacon cheeseburger, the hamburgers at Poor Herbie's are the best I have ever had!
Firehouse Pizza
My girlfriend goes to Drew University so she is a pro when it comes to the best dining in Madison. One night she took me to Firehouse Pizza and I was blown away! The pizza at firehouse is Brick over style and the pies are the perfect size for a couple to share. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff are always friendly. We love stopping by Firehouse Pizza on a cold winter night for a warm pizza and some delicious dessert. The pricing at firehouse is also really great considering how wonderful the service and food are!
Jersey's Finest Barber Shop
Jersey's Finest Barber Shop is very famous among teenage guys as the cool place to get your hair cut in North Jersey. The Barbers at Jersey's finest are some of the best in the business and take men's hair styling to the next level. They offer many services that I myself would never get (such as shaving designs, pictures, and words into someones hair) but I completely respect them as masters of their trade. Some of the more elaborate hair cuts can get very expensive at jerseys finest (more than $50) but the craftsmanship makes the price worthwhile.
The Golf Zone
I have been to Golf Zone many times for many different reason and I have always enjoyed going. They have a large and very impressive mini golf area with two different 18 hole courses and a large waterfall. The mini golf course is relatively new and is in great condition, my only problem is that if you go at night there are hundreds of bugs! In addition to the mini golf courses Golf Zone also has a large driving range, an equally large pro shop, and batting cages. If you are looking for a place to go to hang out with friends or improve your game, keep Golf Zone in mind.
