Jeff's Golf Shop
Whenever I am in need of any kind of golf gear, whether it is tees, balls, or attire I always go to Jeff's first. Jeff's golf shop is a small privately owned store which offers all of the top golf brands at competitive prices. Jeff is almost always manning the shop himself and is more than willing to share his years of expertise with any customer that walks through the door.
Mendham Golf-Tennis Club
I have played golf at the Mendham Golf & Tennis Club once and I was very impressed. The course was nothing short of spectacular and was quite challenging. The club also had a large clubhouse with a semi-formal dining room and multiple tennis courts. The only con of this Club is how very strict it is with all of its policies. This is not the type of club for casual golf or tennis players and will make you feel very uncomfortable if you do not adhere to their rules.
Clubhouse Golf Ctr & Grille
The Clubhouse Golf Ctr & Grill is a large golf center that offers many different activities for the whole family. The Center has a two-floor driving range with a practice putting area, a 18-hole mini golf course with a waterfall, a pro shop, and a grill which has many different meal options. The only con of Clubhouse Golf Center & Grill is that all of its pricing is a little on the high side.
Mt Freedom Golf
Mt. Freedom Golf is a very fun place to go with family and friends. The center has a very nice (and newly renovated) miniature golf course that is fun for kids, teens, and adults and it also has a par 3 golf course which is great for beginners to learn the game. I actually learned how to golf on that par 3 course and it was a very fun and easy way to get introduced to the sport. In addition to those courses, the center has batting cages, a driving range, a pro shop, and many instructional services.
Morris County Golf Course
The Morris County Golf Course is a very high end golf club which offers the best in amenities to its members and guests. A very old club, it takes pride in its history and heritage and maintains its course very well. The course is not exceptionally difficult and is very fun to play. Also, the club offers event planning services to its members.
Randolph Driving Range
The Randolf Driving Range is conveniently located on Sussex Turnpike just off of Route 10. It is a nice driving range with two levels, a pro shop, a small mini golf course. Parking can be an issue due to a very small lot and the range itself is beginning to show some wear and tear. The range is great if your looking for a little practice at a cheap price and the pro shop carries all of the best brands in the business.
Flanders Valley County Golf Course
The Flanders Valley Golf Club is a well-kept golf course with world class amenities at an unbelievably affordable price. My father and I have spent many a morning playing the course at Flanders Valley and we are always impressed. The course is maintained well and it is never difficult to get a tee time. I would recommend this golf club to anyone looking for a new, fresh course to play on a Sunday morning.
China King
As a fan of Chinese food I have tried many of the Chinese establishments in this area and I can say that although its food and service are not bad, China King is not one of the best around. China King offers a full Chinese menu for both dine in and pick up and their prices are on the cheap side. Unfortunately it seems that their prices reflect their quality. Their food was often cold or not ready when I arrived to pick it up.
Lucky Chinese Restaurant
Lucky Chinese Restaurant provides its customers with a very unique and professional dining experience. The meals at Lucky Chinese restaurant are a little on the expensive side but they are made with fresh ingredients and are in massive portions. I have also attended many birthday parties here and it is a perfect environment for any kind of celebration.
China Garden
My family has ordered Chinese from China Garden many times and we have never been let down. Although I have no experience dining in at the restaurant, whenever I go in to pick up our food it looks very clean and is always crowded. The food at China Garden is very good but it is also nothing spectacular. I would definitely recommend China Garden for its fast pick up.
