Holiday Inn Los Angeles Gateway - Torrance, an IHG Hotel
I stayed a couple years ago in this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. They have nice big rooms with two large beds, excellent room service and a restaurant and bar that rocks!

Its nice to have a large hotel in Carson. Their service is great and the prices are compatible with other smaller Hotels in the area. This Hotel is easily accessible off the 405 freeway and close to shopping areas.
Carson Industrial Hardware Inc.
I love these small mom&pop type shops. The sales people are always there to help you out and you can get in and out without wasting half a day looking for something.
Polly's Gourmet Coffee
Great little coffee shop. I like Starbucks but comparing both places, This shop wins hands down. Friendly staff and strong coffee. Try their mocha's and hot chocolate
The Home Depot Tool Rental of Carson
When basic household tools don't work and you refuse to hire a professional,This is where you need to come.They have all the tools you need and you can rent them for a small job that will last three hours or for a full day job. The prices are reasonable and it sure beats hiring someone at 90.00 an hour!
Hong Kong Garden
I am partial to this restaurant because I have been coming here since I was a little kid. Anything you order here that is from the (House Special) is going to be great! The food is priced right and tastes great! (sounds like a beer commercial)
Tomboy's World Famous Chili
Once you try a chili burger from here i am afraid you wont be going to Tommy's anymore! The quality here is much better and the chili is delicious. Prices are great and so are their Burgers!
Pho Long Beach
Now that it is rainy season it is soup time! My favorite is their beef soup(pho) with rare steak. They have many varieties but I think this one is the best! If you are veal hungry I suggest the large and make sure you try the lemon&mint inside delicious.
Golden Express & Donuts
Who doesn't like them! apple fritters,glazed,buttermilk,jelly filled. They are all good over here. My favorite is glazed with a cup of their coffee. Cheap prices&eats what more is there to say!
China Express
It is hard for me to critique a fast food restaurant when I am used to eating at sit down restaurants. If you don't have the time or money I would say try the food here.
