Carini's Italian Restaurant & Pizza
From the outside, Carini's looks pretty run down, but it's a good place to go for Italian food. I have always been there with a huge group, so I can't really judge what the normal service would be. They offer a wide variety of Italian foods and have a little banquet room in the back.
They were kind enough to let our group play bagpipes (not the quietest instrument!) and dance in this room.
Holiday Inn Express Richmond Airport
This is the best of the hotels that are near the Richmond Airport. They offer an excellent breakfast in a very large breakfast area that can be used for card playing or carry out pizza at night if you are with a large group. There is an indoor pool.
Wingate By Wyndham Greenville Airport
This is a nice hotel on the north side of Greenville. The rooms are spacious and they offer a good breakfast. The hotel is on a circle with some other hotels and several nice restaurants that you can walk to.
Clarion Inn & Suites Savannah Midtown
Savannah is full of VERY expensive hotels, especially in the historic district. Staying on Abercorn St. at a place like the Clubhouse is a decent option. You can get a shuttle into town. The rooms are fair in size and decor. The breakfast is huge.
Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Cornelius/Lake Norman
This was not the best Microtel I've ever been in, but it was ok for the price. The breakfast was in a tiny hallway and was mainly cereal and doughnuts. The lobby area seemed a bit sketchy. But the room was fine and spacious, and it was a good bit cheaper than the other hotels in this lake resort area.
Microtel Inn & Suites
This Microtel was being refurbished when we were there. (New sinks, etc.) The rooms were quite large and had a kitchen area - good for business people on a long trip or people going to visit patients at the Mayo clinic. We were very satisfied with the room for the price.
Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Lake Norman Huntersville, NC
Country Inn and Suites is one of the more consistent hotel chains around. You can count on a good breakfast with hot and cold choices, a nice room, and a pleasant check in area. This one has an indoor pool. They worked out a good group rate for an organization that I belong to.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites MANASSAS
We have stayed twice at this hotel. Both times, the room was very comfortable, the staff helpful, and the breakfast filled with many options. It is a bit tricky to find if you use the MapQuest directions, but it's a good medium-end hotel.
Cary Collision Center Inc
Cary Collision is a prompt and fair when you need them after a fender bender. They are well organized and make you feel like everything is under control. They let you know the costs up front and do a good job.
Quality Inspection Ctr
As the other reviewers have said, this place only does inspections. I have never seen it overcrowded. You can get in and out in a hurry. If you are headed southwest on Kildaire Farm Road, you will need to make a u-turn just after the intersection with Trader Joe's in order to get into this place due to the way the medians in the road have been changed.
