After reading most reviews, I can see why that all of these people are quite pleased. Without any appointment, on a Saturday morning 10 mins. prior to opening their doors, they had 3, 4, or 5 customers waiting already. I was one of them. I had a tailpipe and muffler piece (one unit) just dangling from its hangar short of hitting the ground (a '01 Ford Escape). The flange's bolts had finally broken away from corrosion in the harsh Wisconsin's winters. John The Muffler Man's shop said, "Come and take a look." I did and the tech showed me and explained that we can just put a new gasket and bolts it together again. I said, "Great, let's do it." From start to finish they had me out of there in about 45 mins. - 1 hr. and charged me only $47. There's no fancy waiting area (but adequate enough) unlike a car dealership. However, there's NOT the extraordinary high prices either. Anyway, some other place may have tried to sell me an entire exhaust system! Or, at least a tailpipe piece. I hate that. Overselling you what you DO NOT need. Without reservation, this place is worth going to. Its a bit out of the way for me, but it is very good.
My wife being born and growing up in Europe loves this place and so do I. Louise's does a nice job with their food. We like the Pasta Arriabbiata (spicy tomato sauce), the Pasta Pappardelle with Italian Sausage and the BBQ Chicken Pizza is actually pretty good. All of their salads are very good including the gorgonzola cheese one. We like to do carry out. However, if you can hit them up to dine in when it isn't a yelling loud ass crowd which makes it VERY annoying for a nice meal then that's the ticket. It's America for god sakes, what can you expect? We're a loud crowd over here on this side! Terrible. Anyway, I don't think that they're expensive at all unless you drink and eat a lot and gorge yourself like the fat asses we can be.
I also like Dr. Harry. I feel he's competent and gives me a thorough eye exam. I feel as if he know's what he is really doing. He explains things well. However, it is funny because the remaining atmosphere seems to me, a very stressful tension filled environment at the receptionists area. I can't stand this part. I feel as though I've been shot up with 5,000 mg of caffeine when I walk into this area. Why do they behaved so stressed? Andrea is a bee-atch to deal with. She absolutely makes no sense to me logically. I'd like to stay with them but I maybe looking elsewhere because of this. They don't suit my needs any longer.
We had dinner here on March 11, 2009. While our initial first impressions were favorable with the food & attentive service, the ending has been nothing but a hassle. We were over charged on our VISA credit/debit card. I'm still hassling with this. I'd avoid them. This is the 869 N. Mayfair Rd. location. There's at least two of them.
