I have to say that the amount of compassion shown to my very sick dog has been amazing.
The entire staff is friendly and seems genuinely concerned. They have convenient hours and it's relatively easy to get an appointment.

Dr. Kumar has been our family dentist for two years.
He has created a state of the art dentist office.
His staff is friendly and seem to actually remember who you are between visits.
Dr. Kumar is very sensitive to patients who are nervous about having dental work done. He explains everything he is doing.
His hygienist, Melissa, is friendly and very thorough. She is determined to give you the cleanest most healthy mouth possible.

It's nice to find a hip hair salon with a friendly attitude. The stylists were attentive and eager to strike up a conversation. The stylist I used, Liberty, is quite talented. Especially with hair color.

The only downside is that it's a little hard to find parking close by.

Crystal Cavern

When I first went into this little shop, I wasn't expecting it to have such an extensive selection of crystals (despite the obvious name!)
The owner of the shop is extremely knowledgeable and gives you as much time as she can to answer your questions.

I also consulted with her for a psychic reading and was amazed by how many of the things she mentioned ended up appearing in my life.

Sorrento Animal Hospital

We found a lost dog wandering our neighborhood. We didn't want to take him to the pound right away, but couldn't take care of him ourselves.
We walked into Sorrento and asked the staff if they would take the dog. They didn't hesitate for a second! They ooh'd and aah'd over him. They tried to find our whether he had a chip implanted. All they asked of us was to leave our name and tell them where we found him.

As if that wasn't enough, they also let us weigh our dog, even though the scale was acting up and they had to play with it until it worked properly.

I would recommend them for their kind and caring attitude and willingness to help - even when they wouldn't make money for helping.

I remodeled my kitchen last fall. You know how you hear all kinds of horror stories about remodeling? Well, the great news is that with Dean Kern and his crew, I had the absolute best remodeling experience possible.
Dean is very professional and does what he says he will do every time.
He showed up on time and worked long hours to be sure the project was done right the first time.
He provided helpful suggestions based on his experience, and went the extra mile more than once to be sure that I was happy with the result.

I also hired Dean to paint the exterior of my house. The work performed was superior.
