Mansion
I was recently a guest at the Mansion for a bridal shower. The private room we were in is surrounded by glass with a great outdoor space for guests. The signature cocktail--a punch of sorts--was more delicious than words can describe. The staff was very accommodating to create a worthy menu within the hostess's tight budget. A wonderful day!
Taylor's Ice Cream Parlor
Taylor's is only a few doors down from Dairy Queen and only a block or two from Cold Stone, but nothing compares to their homemade ice cream. I love their cookies and cream ice cream and take home pints when ever I am in the area.
After Char-Broil & Ice Cream
Excellent milk shakes! This place has been around since I was a kid. I love their seasonal milkshakes in the summer. Recently, I had a mint milkshake and it was divine, though you can order more traditional items as well.
Forte Pizzeria
The food is good but the prices are a bit high for in-house dining. They cater, though, and the food is delivered hot and ready. We had them cater for a bridal shower and everyone raved about the quality and taste of the food.
Bagels On the Hill
I can't live without their corn muffins! My family loves their breakfast sandwiches. Their homemade cream cheeses are incredible as well. A great stop before a long car ride to the shore, city, or PA.
Cambiotti's Tomatoe Pie Cafe
The pizzas are more delicious than you can imagine. I whole heartedly love the Hawaiian pie, though many are out of this world. This is a great place to order from for lunch as well. As a local teacher, we thrive on their lunches.
Peticote Veterinary Clinic
We were in a bind and needed to board our dogs overnight. The Peticote facility was truly accommodating. Since it was an emergency situation, they delivered the cultures and vaccines my dogs needed on the spot. The dogs received great care and came home happy and rested.
Roma Garden
If you become a regular, the staff will treat you like gold. When I went with my parents who eat there once a week, the waitress ordered for them and everything was incredible. The portions are good sizes as well.
Parkside Deli
This is a great place for lunch or breakfast with colleagues. You can eat in or take out. Call ahead if possible to ensure everything is ready. The bakery items are delicious as well!
Three In One Delicatessen
The sandwiches are wonderful. They will make you anything you want the way you want it. Call ahead and it will be ready for pickup. This is a family-run business, so support Hopatcong locals!
