This is some of the best barbeque in the state. They do excellent barbeque, but the sides also rock. I love their slaw! We stopped here on a whim during a road trip and make a point to hit it each time we come into Eugene. They also do drive through!
Carafe is a French Cafe of the first order. There food is of an excellent quality and presented in the classic French minimalist style. It is a little expensive, but you get quality for those dollars. I had a cheese and fruit plate which was nummy from start to finish. We went with a large group for dinner before a show and everyone was pleased with their meal.
A Barbeque Bonanza! The barbeque and sides are first rate. My husband who is a beer snob says the beers aren't bad either. The kids enjoyed playing video games and pool while waiting for their orders. The staff was friendly. A great local place to hang out.
This would be a nice place to take someone you wanted to impress to lunch. The setting is soothing. The wait staff is efficient and pleasant. The food was good. My mom had crab louis which she said was excellent. I had a Ceasar salad which was crisp and well dressed. When we left my mom left her scarf, which a staff member chased us out the door to return.
These guys made an heroic effort to move our house all in one day. They did not expect as much stuff as we had crammed in our house and called extra guys and an extra truck that day. They gave us a good price and worked from 8am until 10pm when the job was done. These were some tired but helpful guys. They were very careful with our belongings and our homes. I have recommended them to others. My mother was equally pleased when they moved her.
This is the coolest Tiki Bar I've ever been to. I can always tell when the staff and owners really appreciate Tiki. The decor was done by the fabulous Bamboo Ben and total rocks, right down to the restrooms. The blender drinks flow at a furious pace. Last time I was there I sat right in front of the head bartender and she didn't rest the whole time. I especially recommend the Missionary's downfall. Don't forget their signature mug, which you can take home for a small fee.
This place is the real deal. If you are looking for great authentic Mexican food this is your place. This is what everyday people eat. Sick of the all cheddar cheese answer to Mexican? This is what you need. This is the first place I ever had cactus and it was great. I think this place might be in the running for my favorite Mexican food of all time. Did I mention it is also cheap? It is fairly informal, but that was fine with my kids.
Jane's Fabric Patch is a great rural quilt fabric store. They are cramed full to the rafters with goodies for all your quilting needs. They have a well rounded selection of fabrics and notions. If you are looking to get in a fabric fix while you are out at the cheese factory, this is a great place to go.
When you need vet treatment in the middle of the night on a weekend Dove Lewis is there for you. Everytime I have been here the lines have been long, but the wait was worth it.
My family, including my mother and two children took a private ballroom dance series from this studio. The teacher was very patient with all our skill levels and attention spans. I was very impressed and would consider taking more classes. In addition to ballroom she also teaches ballet and tap for kids.
