This is an excellent dim sum restaurant. When someone says to me, "I know a great dim sum restaurant in Seattle" I ask them if it is House of Hong. The food is great and comes to your table quickly and often. They have standard dim sum selections and some unusual selections. My children really like this style of food, because they can see what they are getting in advance.
I lived in a old house and unfortunately had to use Bob's Reedville/Ben Franklin Plumbing more than I would have liked, but I have always been more than satisfied with their service. Their employees are knowledgeable and efficient. I have had them come at weird times to do emergency work and they were always pleasant. If you want it done right and at a fair price, turn to Ben Franklin.
We had several quotes for replacing our hot water heater, but I am so glad we went with Garoken. They did an efficient job, answered all of my questions knowledgeably and in a timely fashion. They really knew what they were doing and I would recommend them to anyone who is having heating/air work done. I believe they are also a woman owned business.
This is a nice little spinning supply store. They sell roving and fleeces, books and spinning tools, including wheels. I believe they also teach classes. An unexpected treasure in Sisters.
Independent coffee roaster of Sisters makes a great cup of espresso. They also have delicious pastries. The shop has a relaxed western rustic feel and is a great place to spend a hours sipping coffee and reading a book from the bookstore kitty corner from the shop. A must for visits to Sisters.
This place is well worth the drive! They raise the bison right on the property. They will sell you fresh or frozen bison in small pieces or by the whole animal. The meat is lean and delicious.
If you are looking for a unique gift in jewelry you have come to the right place. Their window always makes me drool. Their prices are fairly reasonable for unique fashion jewelry. They also have some shawls and hats from time to time.
This place is like the best of made in Oregon art. There are great artworks from local Oregon artists from the practical to whimsical. A very fun place to shop for a unique gift.
This place is great! They have a pan Asian menu that is world class. Their head cooks are from China and you can taste the difference. This is a great break from many of the "American" food restaurants in town. They have a buffet on Sunday which is very tasty.
This shop is always a treat. If I am looking for a really special gift in jewelry I come to this store, even though I live in Hillsboro, OR. Their are unique pieces that are not too crazy to wear.
